Job Description:
We are looking for a competent Compaction Equipment Operator to support road and infrastructure compaction tasks across Abu Dhabi. The operator will handle various compaction machines such as vibratory rollers, plate compactors, and rammers to stabilize soil, sub-base, and asphalt layers according to engineering specifications.
Key duties include conducting machine inspections before and after use, adjusting vibration settings, following compaction patterns, and recording density measurements. You will work closely with site engineers and quality control teams to ensure each compacted layer meets prescribed standards. Awareness of different compaction methods for various soil types and asphalt materials is essential.
Operators must remain alert to ground conditions, slope gradients, and material response to compaction pressure. Performing daily maintenance, lubricating parts, and identifying wear or malfunction will be required to reduce downtime. This is a physically demanding role that involves long hours, heat exposure, and mobility across large construction sites.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience operating compaction machinery and possess a valid UAE heavy equipment license. A strong understanding of compaction requirements for roadbeds, embankments, and asphalt is required. Familiarity with civil engineering plans and safety protocols for working on active road sites is essential. Operators must be reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work under pressure and in coordination with large site teams.
