Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Specialist to join our precision engineering division in Al Ain. This role involves advanced programming, setup, and operation of CNC machines for complex manufacturing tasks. The CNC Specialist will be responsible for translating technical drawings and CAD models into efficient machining strategies, ensuring precision in the fabrication of components across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and industrial machinery.
Key responsibilities include developing CNC programs using G-code and CAM software, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, and optimizing machining parameters for productivity and accuracy. The specialist will oversee machine setup, conduct first-piece inspections, and continuously monitor the machining process to detect and correct deviations. This role also includes routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues.
Working closely with design engineers, production managers, and quality control teams, the CNC Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and process efficiency. The role requires a deep understanding of material properties, tooling, machine calibration, and inspection techniques. Additionally, the specialist is expected to contribute to process improvement initiatives, cost reduction strategies, and training of junior CNC operators.
This is a hands-on role that demands a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with high-precision manufacturing environments. Candidates should be open to shift work and capable of operating in a fast-paced, technically demanding production setting.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Manufacturing, or a related technical field. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in CNC programming and operation is essential, with advanced knowledge of CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM), G-code, and CNC machine tool operations. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with measurement instruments, and adherence to quality and safety standards are crucial. Experience with multi-axis machines and exposure to lean manufacturing will be advantageous.
