Job Description:
The Backstock Room Worker in Ajman is responsible for managing overflow inventory that is not immediately displayed on the sales floor. This role supports retail operations by ensuring products are properly organized, labeled, and readily accessible for replenishment or transfer. The position plays a key part in maintaining efficient stock control and supporting the sales team during high-traffic periods.
Core responsibilities include receiving excess merchandise, labeling and tagging products, and storing them in the designated backstock areas. The worker ensures items are arranged in a logical and easily retrievable manner, following FIFO (First In, First Out) methods where applicable. Regular checks are conducted to monitor product condition, shelf life (especially for perishables), and readiness for replenishment.
The Backstock Room Worker works closely with inventory clerks and sales associates to pull items needed for the sales floor, especially during promotional campaigns or stockouts. The role may also involve assisting with inventory counts, restocking display shelves, and returning unsold or discontinued items to the back area.
Cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper handling of merchandise are essential. The worker is also expected to report discrepancies, damages, or missing items promptly to supervisors and assist with receiving or dispatching shipments as needed.

Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in retail backroom, stock handling, or warehouse support.
Skills: Knowledge of inventory labeling, organizational skills, ability to lift/move stock, and teamwork.
Other Requirements: Physically fit, comfortable working in storage environments, able to work flexible shifts including weekends, and attentive to health and safety protocols.
