Job Description:
The Boxing and Wrapping Associate in Dubai is responsible for preparing products for shipment or customer handover by securely boxing and wrapping items. This role is vital in retail, warehouse, and e-commerce environments where product presentation, protection, and timely delivery are priorities.
Key responsibilities include selecting appropriate-sized boxes, applying protective wrapping materials (such as bubble wrap or foam), and securely sealing packages. The associate ensures products are neatly arranged to avoid damage and comply with branding or presentation standards. This may include decorative wrapping for gift orders or promotional displays.
Additional tasks involve labeling packages accurately, assisting in organizing packed goods for shipping or delivery, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the packing area. The associate must also monitor inventory levels of packing materials and restock supplies as needed.
The position requires excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently. Strong time management and coordination with picking and dispatch teams are essential to meet high-volume packaging targets without compromising quality.
Physical stamina is important, as the job includes standing for long periods and occasionally lifting heavy boxes. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail seasons, is necessary.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Experience in packaging, retail wrapping, or warehouse operations preferred.
Skills: Neatness, attention to detail, manual dexterity, familiarity with various packing/wrapping tools and materials.
Other Requirements: Physical ability to lift and move boxes, ability to stand for extended periods, adherence to safety and hygiene practices, willingness to work flexible hours.
