Job Description:
The Commercial Cleaning Crew Member in Dubai plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across retail and commercial spaces. This role is essential in preserving a healthy and professional environment for both customers and employees, particularly in high-traffic retail centers, shopping malls, and large-format stores.
The primary responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting floors and surfaces in public areas, store interiors, restrooms, food courts, staff lounges, and utility rooms. Crew members are also tasked with collecting and disposing of waste, replacing liners, and replenishing hygiene supplies such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizers.
This position often requires the use of professional cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums, and buffer equipment. Adhering to strict cleaning schedules, safety protocols, and the use of approved disinfectants and cleaning agents is critical, especially in areas subject to hygiene regulations.
The cleaning crew must report any damages, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors, and cooperate with facility management or security staff when needed. Crew members are expected to work efficiently with minimal supervision, maintain discretion, and act courteously in the presence of customers.
Due to the physical demands of the role, the candidate should be capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Availability for shifts during early mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays is often required to accommodate store operating hours.
