Job Description:
The Customer Sales Assistant in Abu Dhabi is a key frontline role within the retail environment, responsible for providing personalized service to shoppers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience. The role supports the achievement of sales targets while upholding the brand image and store standards.
Core duties include welcoming customers, identifying their needs, and offering appropriate product recommendations. The assistant answers questions about merchandise features, prices, availability, and promotions, and often helps customers make informed purchasing decisions. They may also handle customer complaints with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
The Customer Sales Assistant collaborates with the retail team to maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked sales floor. This includes restocking shelves, folding and arranging clothing or products, updating displays, and maintaining visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.
Additionally, the role may involve operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling returns or exchanges in accordance with store policies. Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions and being aware of daily sales goals is expected.
This position requires strong communication, patience, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. A positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in sales or customer service is a plus.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing retail or service environment preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, product knowledge, POS system familiarity, basic math skills, and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
