Job Description:

A reputed hospitality establishment in Ajman is hiring a skilled and creative Bakery Chef to oversee daily baking operations and produce high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty desserts. The Bakery Chef will be responsible for recipe execution, dough preparation, baking, decorating, and ensuring the freshness, taste, and presentation of all baked products meet the company’s standards.

Key duties include managing ingredient inventory, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring timely production for breakfast buffets, cafes, or retail counters. The Bakery Chef will also collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team to introduce new bakery items, seasonal specialties, and custom orders for events.

The role demands hands-on work in a fast-paced kitchen, where consistency and creativity are equally important. The chef must also handle baking equipment properly, manage baking schedules, and supervise assistants or helpers when necessary. Maintaining cleanliness in the bakery area, ensuring compliance with local health regulations, and minimizing waste are integral responsibilities.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should hold a diploma or certification in Baking, Culinary Arts, or Pastry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a baker or pastry chef in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial bakery. Strong knowledge of bakery techniques, dough fermentation, decoration, and ingredient handling is essential. Candidates must be physically fit to handle long hours on their feet, demonstrate time management skills, and have a good eye for detail and presentation. Familiarity with food hygiene and kitchen safety protocols is mandatory. Fluency in English and the ability to work early morning or flexible shifts are required.
