Job Description:
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Setup Staff to support the seamless execution of events at a prestigious hospitality venue in Ajman. This role is a vital part of the banquet operations team, ensuring that every event—from corporate conferences to weddings and social functions—is professionally prepared and executed to the highest standards.
The Banquet Setup Staff will be responsible for arranging tables, chairs, linens, and banquet equipment according to the event floor plan. Tasks include transporting and positioning furniture, setting up stages or podiums, placing decorative elements, and preparing the venue to meet guest expectations and event requirements. This role also involves coordinating closely with event planners, supervisors, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely setup.
During the event, staff may assist with repositioning furniture, managing service stations, and supporting food and beverage staff as needed. After the event, the team is responsible for dismantling setups, storing equipment, and ensuring the area is clean and ready for the next function.
The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Applicants must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy items, working under pressure, and following detailed instructions and layout diagrams.
