Job Description:
The Biochemical Laboratory Specialist performs advanced biochemical testing and analysis to support clinical, pharmaceutical, or life science research. This role involves operating and maintaining sophisticated laboratory equipment, preparing samples, conducting assays, and ensuring high-quality data for research or diagnostic purposes.
Key duties include performing enzyme-linked immunoassays (ELISA), protein quantification, electrophoresis, chromatography, and spectrophotometric analysis. The specialist also documents lab procedures, calibrates instruments, maintains laboratory safety protocols, and assists in method development and validation. The role may include training junior staff and contributing to scientific reporting or publication.

Job Requirement:
Applicants should have a degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or laboratory sciences with 3–6 years of laboratory experience. Expertise in biochemical assays, instrument handling (HPLC, UV-Vis, gel documentation systems), and familiarity with GLP/GMP standards is essential. Strong laboratory documentation, safety awareness, and teamwork are required. Proficiency in English and good manual dexterity are important for success in this role.
