Job Description:
The Biotechnology Research Associate supports laboratory-based scientific investigations in the development of new biological products, processes, and applications. Working in research and development, the associate performs complex experiments to study cells, proteins, and genetic materials, helping advance projects in medical biotechnology, agriculture, and industrial biosciences. The associate is responsible for preparing samples, conducting molecular assays, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with lab protocols.
In a collaborative research environment, the associate works closely with senior scientists and biotechnologists, contributing to the formulation of hypotheses, testing of biological theories, and drafting of technical reports and publications. Duties also include maintaining laboratory instruments, adhering to biosafety protocols, and supporting the validation of methods for diagnostic tools, vaccines, or therapeutic proteins.

Job Requirement:
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or life sciences, with 2–4 years of experience in a research or applied biotechnology laboratory. Experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, electrophoresis, Western blotting), sterile handling, and experimental design is essential. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and data analysis tools such as GraphPad or Excel is required. Candidates must demonstrate precision, teamwork, and the ability to follow complex protocols. Fluency in English is mandatory, and prior research publication or exposure to GMP environments is a plus.
