Job Description:

The Clinical Information Manager is responsible for the organization, analysis, and strategic use of clinical data within healthcare or research environments. This role involves managing clinical documentation systems, supporting electronic medical record (EMR) integration, and ensuring that data collected during trials or hospital operations is secure, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include establishing data governance frameworks, overseeing data extraction and reporting for clinical studies, ensuring accurate coding of medical data (ICD, SNOMED), and maintaining clinical databases used for quality improvement, research, or regulatory submissions. The manager works closely with IT, medical records, clinical researchers, and regulatory teams to streamline data access and ensure audit readiness.

This role is essential for turning clinical data into actionable insights while upholding privacy, ethical use, and information integrity. It combines skills in healthcare data management, compliance, and process design.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should hold a degree in health informatics, medical records management, clinical research, or a related field, with 5–8 years of experience in managing clinical data systems or EMR platforms. Knowledge of medical terminology, data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA), and clinical coding systems is essential. Experience with EMR, clinical decision support tools, and clinical data warehouses is preferred. Strong documentation, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination skills are required. Fluency in English is mandatory.
