Job Description:
The Boiler Maintenance Engineer in Dubai is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of industrial boilers and their auxiliary systems. This role encompasses routine inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-pressure steam boilers, condensate systems, feedwater pumps, burners, control systems, and safety devices. The engineer develops and executes preventive maintenance schedules, ensures compliance with safety standards and local regulations, and minimizes operational downtime by promptly addressing boiler faults or inefficiencies. Responsibilities also include conducting pressure and leak tests, maintaining logs of maintenance activities, monitoring boiler water chemistry, and coordinating with water treatment service providers. The engineer contributes to energy-saving initiatives, identifies parts for replacement, and assists in procurement and installation. During plant shutdowns or emergency repairs, the engineer leads maintenance teams, prioritizes tasks, and ensures that all work is executed with precision and safety in mind. Collaboration with facility managers and utilities engineers is essential to align maintenance activities with production requirements. The role requires technical acumen, hands-on capability, and a strong commitment to operational excellence in a high-demand manufacturing environment.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with 4–6 years of direct experience in boiler maintenance within industrial settings. In-depth knowledge of steam systems, pressure vessels, burners, and boiler safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with ASME codes, thermodynamic principles, water treatment protocols, and mechanical repair techniques is necessary. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with maintenance tools and diagnostic instruments. A valid boiler engineer license or certification is a significant advantage. The role requires physical fitness, attention to safety, and the ability to work in shifts or emergency situations.
