Job Description:

The Component Assembly Technician in Ajman is responsible for assembling mechanical and electronic components into subassemblies or finished products as part of the manufacturing process. This role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure precise assembly according to quality standards.

Daily tasks include preparing components by cleaning and inspecting them for defects before assembly. The technician uses hand tools, power tools, and assembly jigs to fit, fasten, and test components. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to ensure components fit together correctly and function properly in the final product.

The technician is also responsible for identifying and reporting defective parts or assembly issues to the quality assurance team for resolution. Maintaining documentation related to assembly processes, parts used, and quality checks is a key part of the role.

The Component Assembly Technician works closely with engineers and production supervisors to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety guidelines. The role involves troubleshooting minor assembly problems and contributing ideas to improve assembly efficiency and product quality.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a diploma or certificate in mechanical or electrical assembly or a related technical field. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in component assembly within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, reading technical documents, and quality control standards is essential. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have good manual dexterity, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety are also important.
