Job Description:
The Claims Operations Associate is responsible for processing, verifying, and tracking insurance claims in accordance with policy terms, client protocols, and regulatory standards in a healthcare BPO environment based in Al Ain. This role involves reviewing claims documentation, verifying patient and provider details, checking policy coverage, and ensuring proper coding before claim submission or adjudication. Additional responsibilities include managing correspondence with providers or insurers, flagging discrepancies, updating claims systems, and supporting appeals or resubmissions. The associate ensures high levels of accuracy, turnaround time, and adherence to both internal SLAs and payer-specific requirements. In Al Ain’s growing medical claims outsourcing sector, this position is key to maintaining the efficiency, transparency, and compliance of the claims processing cycle.
Job Requirement:
A diploma or bachelor’s in healthcare administration, insurance, or medical coding is preferred, along with 2–3 years of experience in health insurance claims or revenue cycle operations. Knowledge of ICD/CPT codes, claims platforms, and payer rules is essential. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle confidential health data responsibly are necessary.
