Job Description:
The Medical Device Design Engineer in Dubai is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and validating medical devices that meet both user and regulatory requirements. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate clinical needs into technical specifications, performing risk assessments, and developing design inputs and outputs under strict quality management systems. The engineer will create CAD models, select biocompatible materials, and prototype mechanical and electromechanical components used in diagnostic, therapeutic, or surgical equipment. Responsibilities also include running verification/validation tests, managing design changes, and generating documentation for CE marking or FDA submissions. Job Requirement:
A degree in biomedical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering is required, with at least 4 years of experience in medical device design. Proficiency in CAD software, risk analysis tools (e.g., FMEA), and experience with regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820) are essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, familiarity with prototyping and testing, and the ability to manage design documentation in a regulated environment.
