Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional beverage service to our customers while maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. Ensure accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients to maintain consistency and quality. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, suggesting beverage options, and providing recommendations. Ensure prompt and efficient service to enhance the overall guest experience. Menu Knowledge: Possess a strong knowledge of the beverage menu, including ingredients, flavors, and presentation. Educate customers about different options, offer pairing suggestions, and provide detailed descriptions of featured drinks. Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash registers. Adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and equipment. Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Upselling and Promotion: Proactively suggest additional beverages, promotions, or special offers to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. Stay updated with current promotions and new drink releases. Compliance: Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding the service of alcohol, including age verification, responsible service, and liquor licensing. Teamwork: Collaborate with other members of the food and beverage team to provide seamless service and support during busy periods. Assist colleagues when needed and maintain effective communication within the team.

Job Requirement: Previous experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment is preferred. Excellent knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a positive manner. Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients. Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with local liquor regulations and responsible service of alcohol practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
