Job Description: We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Agent to join our team in North York, Canada. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience at our food and beverage establishment. Key Responsibilities: Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests, complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately. Verify guest information, process payments, and issue room keys or dining reservations. Provide a warm welcome and farewell to create a positive first and last impression. Reservation Management: Manage guest reservations, including modifications, cancellations, and room assignment changes. Ensure accuracy of guest information and preferences in the reservation system. Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests and preferences. Guest Assistance: Provide information about the establishment's facilities, services, and amenities. Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and recommendations for local attractions, dining, and transportation. Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction. Telephone and Email Handling: Answer incoming calls, take messages, and respond to guest inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally. Maintain a professional and courteous telephone manner at all times. Transfer calls and relay messages accurately. Cash Handling and Reporting: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and maintain accurate cash drawers. Balance cash and credit transactions at the end of each shift. Prepare daily reports and reconcile discrepancies. Guest Security and Safety: Follow security and safety protocols, including monitoring the premises, controlling access to guest areas, and ensuring the safety of guests and their belongings. Respond to emergencies and follow established procedures. Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, record keeping, and updating guest information. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Assist with guest mail and packages. Collaboration with Team Members: Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to address guest requests, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

Job Requirement: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle guest inquiries and administrative tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented and reliable, with excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with reservation systems and basic cash handling procedures. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications. Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
