Job Description:

The Bulk Goods Loader is responsible for handling and transporting large quantities of merchandise within Edmonton retail stores or warehouses. This role ensures that bulk products are efficiently moved, organized, and prepared for storage or sales floor replenishment.

Key responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, moving bulk items using appropriate equipment, stacking products safely, and ensuring accurate placement in stockrooms or on sales floors. The loader collaborates with warehouse teams, stockroom assistants, and store staff to maintain smooth operations and prevent damage to merchandise.

Attention to safety, efficiency, and proper handling procedures is essential in this physically demanding role. The Bulk Goods Loader helps maintain organized stock areas, ensures timely replenishment of products, and supports overall store performance. Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations, retail stock handling, or logistics preferred.

Skills:

Knowledge of proper lifting and handling techniques.

Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (if required).

Physical stamina and strength for moving heavy items.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Teamwork and communication skills for coordination with staff.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or peak retail periods.
