Job Description:
The Commercial Cleaning Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of retail stores, stockrooms, and common areas in Calgary. This role ensures that customers and staff experience a clean and organized environment, contributing to a positive shopping atmosphere and efficient store operations.
Key duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, and fixtures. The crew member is also responsible for emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with setup or teardown for promotional events and ensuring cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. By maintaining high cleanliness standards, the Commercial Cleaning Crew Member helps enhance customer satisfaction, employee productivity, and overall store presentation.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or retail maintenance preferred.
