Job Description:

The Delivery Coordination Worker is responsible for managing the scheduling, organization, and execution of deliveries within Calgary retail operations. This role ensures that products reach stores or customers on time and in excellent condition, supporting smooth retail and e-commerce operations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with warehouse staff, drivers, and store personnel to schedule deliveries, preparing shipment documentation, tracking delivery progress, and resolving any issues that arise during transit. The worker also verifies product quantities, ensures proper packaging, and communicates with customers regarding delivery times and any updates.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication are essential in this role. By coordinating deliveries efficiently, the Delivery Coordination Worker contributes to customer satisfaction, accurate stock levels, and the overall performance of the retail supply chain. This role also involves assisting with inventory management and maintaining delivery records to support operational reporting and performance evaluation.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in logistics, retail delivery, or coordination roles is preferred.

Skills:

Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Ability to manage schedules and track multiple deliveries.

Basic computer skills for managing delivery systems and records.
