Job Description:
The Facility Maintenance Helper is responsible for assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of retail store facilities in Montreal. This role ensures a safe, clean, and operational environment for customers and staff.
Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting skilled maintenance personnel, repairing minor issues, handling basic plumbing, electrical, or carpentry tasks, and monitoring the condition of store facilities. The helper collaborates with facility managers, store staff, and vendors to report and resolve maintenance issues promptly. The role also involves cleaning work areas, disposing of waste safely, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and safety awareness are essential for this role. By supporting facility maintenance, the helper contributes to uninterrupted store operations, a safe shopping environment, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or technical skills preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in facility maintenance, retail support, or general handyman work is advantageous.
