Job Description: We are currently seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our organization in Victoria, Canada. As the CTO, you will be responsible for driving technology strategy, innovation, and execution within the executive and management industry. Responsibilities: Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company's objectives and industry trends. Drive innovation and identify opportunities to leverage technology for business growth and operational efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning. Set performance goals and provide support for professional development. Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity. Software Development: Drive software development processes and methodologies, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business requirements. Data Management: Develop strategies for effective data management, including data governance, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the executive and management industry. Evaluate and implement technologies that enhance business operations and drive competitive advantage. Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring effective delivery of products and services. Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance. Risk Management: Identify and manage technology risks, implementing appropriate measures to safeguard data and systems. Develop business continuity plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
Job Requirement: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in executive and management roles, with a focus on technology. Previous experience as a CTO or in a similar senior executive position is highly desirable. Deep understanding of technology trends, software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity within the executive and management industry. Proven track record in developing and implementing technology strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and make data-driven decisions. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are preferred.
