Job Description:
The Domestic Couple, comprising a Housekeeper and Maintenance Worker, is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of a private residence in Edmonton. This live-in or live-out couple works collaboratively to maintain the household’s cleanliness, functionality, and overall comfort. The housekeeper oversees daily interior upkeep, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal preparation, while the maintenance partner handles basic repairs, groundskeeping, security checks, and seasonal upkeep.
The role may also involve pet care, grocery shopping, managing vendors or service providers, and assisting during family events or guest visits. Discretion, teamwork, and initiative are crucial, as the couple will be trusted with managing the property in the homeowner’s absence and responding to household needs promptly and professionally.
This position is suited to experienced couples who enjoy working in a private, respectful environment and are committed to long-term residential support.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent for both; trade skills or culinary training a plus.
Experience: 3–5 years in a similar domestic couple role within private homes or estates.
Skills:
Deep cleaning, laundry care, and household organization.
General repairs, light plumbing/electrical, yard work.
Basic cooking or meal preparation (optional).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Language: Proficiency in English required.
