Job Description:

The Formal House Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and service within a luxury private residence in Montreal. This role includes daily cleaning of rooms, maintaining fine furnishings, handling laundry and linens, setting tables, and assisting with formal events and guest hospitality. The attendant ensures the home remains pristine, organized, and ready to receive residents or guests at any time.

Working under the direction of a house manager or employer, the Formal House Attendant may also perform wardrobe care, iron clothing, manage household supplies, and assist with serving food and beverages during formal dinners or social functions. A deep understanding of etiquette, discretion, and protocol is crucial, as the household may include VIPs or business guests.

This position demands efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs of residents, making it key to delivering seamless, five-star domestic support in a formal setting.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma; formal training in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.

Experience: 2+ years in a similar role in a luxury private residence or hotel.

Skills:

Knowledge of fine cleaning methods for luxury surfaces and materials.

Familiarity with formal table settings and service etiquette.

Ability to work independently and maintain high standards.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Language: Fluent in French; English is an asset.
