Job Description:
The Elderly Support Worker provides compassionate, in-home assistance to senior clients in Quebec City who require help with daily living due to aging, illness, or limited mobility. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and comfort through personalized care. Core responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and offering emotional companionship.
The worker may also assist with grocery shopping, scheduling appointments, and accompanying clients on walks or light outings. Ensuring safety within the home—such as fall prevention and cleanliness—is a key responsibility. The Elderly Support Worker must build strong, respectful relationships with clients and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers.

Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma required; certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred.

Ability to assist with personal hygiene and mobility.
Good communication, observation, and emotional support skills.
Basic cooking and housekeeping abilities.
