Job Description: We are seeking a talented and driven Economic Analyst to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As an Economic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing economic data, conducting research, and providing valuable insights to support our organization's decision-making process in the finance, banking, and insurance industry. Responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and interpret economic data and trends. Conduct economic research, forecasts, and analysis to identify market opportunities and risks. Monitor and evaluate key economic indicators and their impact on our organization. Prepare reports and presentations on economic trends, market conditions, and industry forecasts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide economic insights and support strategic planning. Stay updated on economic policies, regulations, and market developments. Assist in developing economic models and scenarios for financial planning and risk assessment. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in statistical analysis and econometric modeling. Knowledge of economic theories and principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of the finance, banking, and insurance industry is preferred.
