Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Naval Architecture Engineer to join our team in Kitchener, Canada. As a Junior Naval Architecture Engineer in the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry, you will assist in the design, analysis, and development of ship structures, systems, and components. Your knowledge of naval architecture principles, proficiency in engineering software, and passion for the maritime industry will contribute to the success of our shipbuilding projects. Responsibilities: Assist in the design and analysis of ship structures, systems, and components. Conduct calculations, simulations, and modeling using engineering software. Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments. Perform engineering calculations and assist in developing design improvements. Participate in design reviews, inspections, and testing activities. Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in naval architecture. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in shipbuilding processes and practices.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of naval architecture principles, ship structures, and marine systems. Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with shipbuilding processes and practices. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Enthusiasm for the maritime industry and shipbuilding projects. Relevant internships or co-op experience is a plus. Eligibility for registration as an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) is desirable.
