Job Description: We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a Quality Control Inspector in the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of ship components, equipment, and systems. Your expertise in inspection methods, knowledge of quality standards, and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will contribute to the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and quality control checks on ship components, equipment, and systems. Follow inspection procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Use various inspection tools and equipment to measure and verify dimensions, tolerances, and performance criteria. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities. Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with other team members and departments to address and resolve quality-related issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurring. Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure adherence to quality requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to shipbuilding quality control.

Job Requirement: Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in the shipbuilding or manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and inspection techniques. Familiarity with shipbuilding processes, components, and systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate inspection results. Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards is an asset. Relevant certifications or training in quality control or inspection are desirable.
