Job Description: We are currently seeking skilled Plumbers & Pipe Fitters to join our team in London, Canada. As a Plumbers & Pipe Fitters in the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and piping systems on ships and marine vessels. Your expertise in reading blueprints, interpreting specifications, and executing precise installations will contribute to the successful completion of our projects. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and piping systems on ships and marine vessels. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements. Cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and techniques to fit the designated spaces. Install and connect pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and leak-free connections. Perform inspections and tests to identify and repair leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with other ship components. Follow safety protocols and adhere to applicable regulations and industry standards. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent. Continuously update knowledge and skills in plumbing and pipe fitting techniques and technologies.

Job Requirement: Previous experience as a Plumber, Pipe Fitter, or similar role, preferably in the shipbuilding industry. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to plumbing and piping systems. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards. Ability to cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and techniques. Familiarity with a variety of piping materials, fittings, valves, and fixtures. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations related to plumbing and pipe fitting. Valid certifications or licenses related to plumbing and pipe fitting are an asset.
