Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and technically adept 3D Modeling Engineer for our product development team in Munich. This position involves developing detailed 3D models of complex mechanical assemblies and systems used in engineering and manufacturing applications.

You will be responsible for transforming conceptual sketches, design briefs, and engineering input into precise 3D digital models suitable for prototyping, simulation, and production. Working closely with R&D, product engineers, and simulation analysts, your models will serve as the foundation for product development and testing.

In this role, you will also troubleshoot design issues, optimize part geometries for functionality and manufacturability, and support the rapid iteration of models during product refinement stages.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. At least 3–6 years of hands-on experience in 3D CAD modeling is required.

Expertise in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Siemens NX, or Fusion 360 is necessary. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, product geometry, and assembly practices is a must.

Experience working with simulation-ready models and knowledge of materials and manufacturing constraints (e.g., DFM, DFA) are highly valued. Familiarity with rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing technologies is a plus.

You should possess strong analytical skills and be able to interpret engineering input and translate it into high-fidelity models. Excellent problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design revisions are key.

Good communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
