Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and detail-driven Aeronautical Design Engineer to join our aerospace R&D unit in Munich. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of aircraft components and structures to meet stringent performance, weight, and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will span from initial concept development to detailed design using CAD and simulation tools. You’ll analyze aerodynamic loads, perform structural simulations, and support material selection and manufacturing feasibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as propulsion, avionics, and flight control is key to delivering integrated, certifiable solutions.

The role also involves creating technical documentation, supporting prototype fabrication, and assisting in ground and flight testing programs. You’ll work closely with suppliers and regulatory bodies to ensure that all deliverables meet aerospace certification standards.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 3–7 years of experience in aircraft design and structural analysis.

Expertise in CATIA, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks, along with proficiency in finite element analysis tools like ANSYS or NASTRAN, is required. Knowledge of materials (composites and alloys), manufacturing techniques, and regulatory standards (EASA, FAA) is essential.

Strong analytical mindset, documentation skills, and familiarity with aircraft lifecycle development are crucial.
