Job Description:

We are hiring a technically skilled and creative Bridge Design Engineer to join our structural engineering division in Munich. This role is responsible for designing durable, cost-effective, and aesthetically aligned bridge structures for highways, rail, and pedestrian use.

You will lead the design process from conceptual sketches through detailed engineering, including analysis, drafting, and documentation. Key responsibilities include performing structural calculations, load modeling, and ensuring designs meet both local and international codes. You will also review construction materials, supervise design drawings, and coordinate with architects, urban planners, and contractors.

Field visits for assessments and collaboration during construction phases are essential. The role also involves preparing technical reports, liaising with municipalities for permit approvals, and participating in client presentations.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 4–7 years of experience in bridge design or related infrastructure.

Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, MIDAS Civil, or SAP2000 is essential. Knowledge of Eurocodes, AASHTO standards, and BIM workflows is highly preferred.

Good project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams are vital.
