Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Asset Reliability Analyst to join our operations support team in Berlin. This role is central to enhancing equipment performance, minimizing unplanned downtime, and optimizing asset lifecycle costs across our manufacturing operations.

As an Asset Reliability Analyst, you will gather and analyze equipment performance data, develop failure models, and implement predictive maintenance strategies using tools like FMEA, RCM, and RCA. Your work will involve close collaboration with maintenance engineers, production supervisors, and data scientists to identify critical assets, evaluate root causes of failure, and propose actionable improvements.

You will also develop and maintain asset performance dashboards, track KPIs (like MTTR and MTBF), and support the implementation of condition monitoring tools. The position is ideal for someone who blends strong technical understanding with statistical analysis and practical insight into plant operations.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with 3–6 years of experience in asset management or reliability engineering within a manufacturing or processing environment.

Hands-on experience with reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) is required. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or Python) and maintenance systems (like SAP PM or CMMS software) is essential.

A good understanding of equipment such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and electrical systems is expected. Ability to interpret maintenance logs, failure data, and sensor outputs is crucial.

Strong communication and documentation skills, coupled with a detail-oriented mindset, are key. Certification in reliability (CRE) or asset management (IAM) is an advantage.
