Job Description:
We are hiring a Category Optimization Manager to refine and implement category strategies focused on improving performance, efficiency, and profitability. This role, based in Berlin, requires a data-driven professional who can work cross-functionally to identify improvement areas within the category lifecycle.
You will conduct performance reviews, manage assortment planning, optimize pricing, and coordinate category initiatives in collaboration with sales, procurement, and marketing teams. You’ll also focus on aligning customer expectations with product offerings and executing strategies to increase market competitiveness.

Job Requirement:
Degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of category or retail analytics experience
Strong command of pricing, segmentation, and merchandising strategy
Skilled in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Project management experience is a plus
Fluent in English; German proficiency is highly valued
