Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Embroidery Stitch Operator to join our textile manufacturing team in Munich. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines, ensuring the accurate stitching of patterns and designs onto a variety of fabrics and garments. You will work closely with designers and quality assurance personnel to execute embroidery tasks according to specifications and production timelines.
Key duties include preparing machines with thread and backing materials, loading fabric securely into frames, monitoring embroidery progress, and performing minor machine adjustments when necessary. Ensuring consistency in stitch quality, identifying thread breaks or misalignments, and correcting issues on the spot are crucial to this role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle intricate detailing, especially when working with fine fabrics or complex designs.
This role demands both speed and precision, as you will often be working under production schedules. Experience with single and multi-head embroidery machines is highly desirable. Knowledge of digitizing software and ability to interpret embroidery files will be an added advantage. If you have a passion for textiles and a keen eye for aesthetics, we invite you to apply for this hands-on, rewarding role in the heart of Munich.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or vocational training in textiles, garment production, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in operating embroidery machines is essential, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Familiarity with both single-head and multi-head embroidery systems is required, along with a sound understanding of stitch types, thread qualities, and fabric behavior.
Applicants must possess good hand-eye coordination and the ability to interpret technical drawings or digitized designs. A basic knowledge of machine maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues will be advantageous. Attention to detail, patience, and consistency are key qualities we value in this position.
Effective communication and the ability to follow design specifications and instructions precisely are essential. Candidates should be physically fit to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies or embroidery methods will be considered strong assets. Fluency in German or English is preferred.
