Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Process Optimization Engineer to join our manufacturing excellence team in Munich. This role is critical for enhancing productivity, reducing operational costs, and ensuring lean, efficient, and safe processes across our industrial production lines.

You will analyze current manufacturing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements through methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen. Your responsibilities will include mapping processes, conducting root cause analyses, developing simulation models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process changes with measurable outcomes.

You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives, support quality audits, and assist in the integration of automation and digital monitoring tools (e.g., SCADA, PLC systems) into existing operations. Regular reporting and performance tracking of KPIs will be a crucial part of the role, along with training staff on new workflows or improvements.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), and strong skills in data analysis (Excel, Power BI, Minitab) are required. Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and industrial automation tools is preferred.

You should have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels, and a passion for driving operational excellence in both high-volume and high-precision production settings.
