Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and environmentally driven Sustainable Energy Analyst to support our energy modeling and policy research team in Berlin. This role involves analyzing energy consumption trends, evaluating the performance of renewable energy systems, and identifying opportunities for increasing energy efficiency in industrial and public-sector applications.
You’ll conduct data-driven research, develop models for energy forecasting, and support policy recommendations related to energy conservation and emission reduction. This includes preparing technical reports, whitepapers, and briefing documents for clients, stakeholders, and government partners.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability who enjoys combining technical expertise with policy insight and systems thinking to drive impactful change.
Job Requirement:
Master’s in Energy Systems, Environmental Science, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, energy analytics, or environmental consulting.
Strong skills in data analysis, energy modeling tools (e.g., RETScreen, SAM), and statistical software (Python, R, Excel) are required. An understanding of carbon accounting, renewable energy markets, and global sustainability standards is preferred.
Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills are crucial.
