Job Description:
The Academic Writing Analyst in Qurain plays a vital role in the development and refinement of academic texts, ensuring that content meets scholarly standards, formatting guidelines, and institutional expectations. This role involves analyzing academic documents such as research papers, theses, dissertations, journal submissions, and educational content for quality, structure, originality, and accuracy. The analyst works closely with researchers, students, faculty members, and academic publishers to enhance the clarity, coherence, and scholarly impact of written materials.
Duties include reviewing documents for logical flow, citation correctness, grammatical integrity, and compliance with referencing styles such as APA, MLA, Chicago, or Harvard. The analyst may also be required to check for plagiarism using academic integrity software and provide revision suggestions to authors. The position demands critical thinking, attention to academic detail, and familiarity with specific disciplinary requirements across fields such as social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, and engineering.
Job Requirement:
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant academic field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in academic writing or editing.
Deep knowledge of academic formatting, referencing styles, and scholarly conventions.
Familiarity with citation management tools like EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley.
Strong analytical and language skills to assess and improve academic writing.
Experience working with non-native English-speaking scholars is preferred.

Ability to provide constructive editorial feedback without altering core arguments.
