Job Description:
As the App Localization Specialist Manager based in AI Ahmadi, you will oversee the adaptation of mobile applications into multiple languages, ensuring content and interface elements are linguistically, culturally, and functionally accurate. Your role will include managing a team of translators, testers, and localization engineers to facilitate the seamless release of localized apps.
You will be involved in strategic planning of localization workflows, including text extraction, translation memory management, integration with development sprints, and continuous localization for frequent app updates. You will also oversee user feedback loops and QA processes to improve linguistic accuracy and cultural resonance.
The manager collaborates with marketing and development teams to ensure that in-app promotions, onboarding flows, and UX/UI texts align with global audience expectations. Reporting duties include localization KPIs, bug tracking, and process optimization metrics.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a degree in Translation, Localization Engineering, or related fields, along with 5+ years of experience in digital content localization, including 2 years in mobile app localization management.
Strong command of mobile platforms (iOS, Android), and experience using localization tools like Crowdin, Transifex, or Smartling is essential. Familiarity with source control systems like Git and issue-tracking tools like Jira will be required.
Demonstrated ability to manage localization at scale, exceptional problem-solving skills, and cross-functional leadership experience are a must. Candidates must be familiar with UI/UX testing, app store optimization (ASO), and global market considerations for mobile apps.
