Job Description:
The Facility Handyman in Al Farwaniyah plays a versatile and essential role in maintaining the overall integrity and functionality of hospitality establishments such as hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments. This role requires broad skills across carpentry, minor plumbing, electrical tasks, and general repairs to ensure that all physical assets remain in good condition for guest comfort and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include responding to service requests from hotel departments, conducting routine inspections, identifying and fixing issues related to furniture, fixtures, lighting, and walls. The Facility Handyman may repair doors, locks, furnishings, and minor leaks, as well as install appliances or mount equipment. Basic painting and minor renovation tasks may also fall under this role’s purview.

Job Requirement:
High school diploma or vocational training in trades
2+ years of experience as a handyman or general repair technician
Knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures
Ability to perform tasks in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and carry tools and materials
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of building codes and maintenance standards
