Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Mushroom Farm Laborer to join our team in Al Farwaniyah, Kuwait, within the construction and building industry. This role supports sustainable agricultural initiatives integrated with modern construction practices, focusing on mushroom cultivation and harvesting operations.
The Mushroom Farm Laborer will be responsible for carrying out daily farm tasks including preparing growing beds, mixing and sterilizing substrate, loading and unloading mushroom trays, maintaining clean and sanitary growing environments, and supporting the harvesting process. The laborer will follow strict guidelines for hygiene and environmental control to ensure healthy and productive mushroom yields.
Key duties also include monitoring mushroom growth, discarding diseased or damaged produce, packaging harvested mushrooms, and assisting with composting and recycling waste materials. The position requires regular physical labor such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with a strong work ethic, willing to follow instructions precisely, and able to work under high humidity and variable temperatures. Prior experience in mushroom or vegetable farming is an advantage but not mandatory. A commitment to safety, sustainability, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
