Job Description:
The Small Ruminant Farm Worker will be responsible for the daily care and management of small ruminants, including feeding, watering, cleaning shelters, herding, and monitoring animal health. The role requires hands-on work in maintaining hygienic and safe housing environments, assisting in routine health checks, and reporting any signs of illness or distress to supervisors or veterinary staff.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with breeding programs, lambing/kidding support, hoof trimming, and administering basic treatments under direction. The worker will also help maintain records on animal health, weight, feed intake, and growth rates.
As part of a broader effort to build self-sustaining agricultural infrastructure within construction zones, the farm worker may assist in the development or maintenance of livestock facilities. This position requires physical stamina, animal care knowledge, and teamwork skills to ensure efficient and humane livestock operations in alignment with Kuwait’s construction and sustainability goals.
