Job Description:
The Access Control Guard is responsible for managing and monitoring the entry and exit points of facilities in Al Thakhira, Qatar, ensuring only authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles gain access. Reporting to the security supervisor, the guard verifies identification, issues visitor passes, inspects deliveries, and maintains logs of all movements in and out of the premises.
The guard operates access control systems, CCTV cameras, and communicates effectively with other security team members to respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies. Duties include conducting routine inspections of gates, barriers, and fencing, enforcing security protocols, and assisting in evacuation procedures when necessary.
This position requires vigilance, good communication skills, and adherence to safety and security regulations. The role may involve standing for long periods and working flexible shifts to ensure continuous access control services. The Access Control Guard plays a key role in maintaining a secure environment in commercial, industrial, or residential complexes in Al Thakhira.
Job Requirement:
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Experience in access control or security roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills:
Proficient in using access control technology and surveillance equipment.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Physically capable of standing and monitoring checkpoints for extended periods.
Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
Language: Basic proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
