Job Description:
The Builder’s Assistant supports skilled tradespeople, construction teams, and site supervisors in various phases of building projects across Lusail, Qatar. This role involves general labor and hands-on assistance at construction sites, including carrying tools and materials, preparing work areas, mixing cement, setting up scaffolding, and clearing debris to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Working under direct supervision, the assistant helps bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians by fetching equipment, aligning materials, and maintaining order on site. Additional responsibilities may include loading and unloading supplies, erecting temporary barriers, and assisting with surface preparation tasks like sanding or painting.
This physically demanding role requires stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. The Builder’s Assistant plays a crucial part in helping complete projects on time while maintaining a clean, organized job site that adheres to health and safety standards set by Qatari construction regulations.
