Job Description:
The Custodial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within public, commercial, or institutional buildings in Al Khor, Qatar. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture and surfaces, disinfecting restrooms, and removing waste. The worker ensures that assigned areas such as offices, classrooms, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms are clean, orderly, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
Under the supervision of a custodial supervisor or facility manager, the worker may be tasked with replenishing supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning products, reporting maintenance issues (e.g., leaks or broken fixtures), and locking or unlocking premises during opening and closing hours. The job requires flexibility to work day or night shifts, especially during weekends or events, and may involve occasional outdoor cleaning tasks like sweeping walkways or maintaining entrances.
This position is essential in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for building occupants. The role suits dependable individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and an eye for detail in routine cleaning operations.
Job Requirement:
Education: No formal education required; basic literacy is helpful.
Experience: Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not necessary.
