Job Description:
The Budget and Forecasting Analyst in Al Thakhira is responsible for managing the financial planning cycle for the e-commerce business, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial projections. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial sustainability and strategic alignment by providing accurate forecasting models and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments.
Key responsibilities include consolidating inputs from various teams, building forecasting templates, monitoring budget adherence, and preparing variance analysis reports. The analyst will work closely with finance, operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial planning with business goals, while identifying cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth drivers. The role also involves supporting scenario modeling, cash flow projections, and investment feasibility studies.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA, ACCA) are preferred.
Experience: 4–6 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or tech-driven company.
Skills:
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Experience with FP&A software and ERP platforms.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
Understanding of revenue recognition, cost structures, and margin analysis.
Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
Language: English fluency required; Arabic is a plus.
