Job Description:

The Healthcare Billing Analyst in Umm Salal is responsible for managing, analyzing, and streamlining billing operations for healthcare providers within a KPO environment. This role supports revenue cycle management (RCM) by ensuring accurate claim processing, payment posting, denial analysis, and compliance with payer-specific requirements and healthcare regulations.

Key duties include verifying insurance eligibility, reviewing medical coding accuracy, generating invoices, following up on unpaid claims, and preparing billing reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The analyst works closely with medical coders, claims processors, and healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely reimbursements. Additionally, the role contributes to process improvements aimed at reducing billing errors and improving collection rates.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field; certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CPB) is preferred.

Experience: 2–4 years in healthcare billing, RCM, or medical claims processing, preferably in a KPO or third-party billing services firm.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and payer guidelines.

Familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.

Proficiency in billing software and healthcare management systems.

Analytical and detail-oriented with strong reconciliation skills.

Ability to manage high volumes of claims while ensuring accuracy.

Language: Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.

Ability to handle sensitive patient data with confidentiality.

Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Willingness to work across different shifts as per client time zones.
