Job Description:
The Social Media Strategist in Umm Salal is responsible for developing and executing the brand’s social media strategy to increase engagement, drive traffic, and boost online sales through organic and paid social channels. This role involves crafting compelling content calendars, managing platform-specific campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize reach and interaction across key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
The strategist will collaborate with creative, marketing, and customer experience teams to align messaging with brand objectives and seasonal campaigns. Responsibilities include managing influencer partnerships, community engagement, trend monitoring, and crisis response when needed. The Social Media Strategist will also play a key role in storytelling, building brand identity, and fostering loyalty through interactive, user-focused content.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in social media strategy or content marketing, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
Skills:
Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
Strong content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling abilities.
Experience with paid social campaigns and performance tracking.
Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement data.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with Qatar’s digital audience and online culture.
Creativity, agility, and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with influencers or user-generated content programs is a plus.
