Job Description:
The Strategic Advertising Planner plays a key role in shaping the direction of advertising campaigns by conducting research, analyzing market trends, and developing communication strategies tailored to target audiences in Umm Salal, Qatar. Working closely with client managers, creatives, and media teams, the planner ensures that campaign messages align with both brand identity and audience behavior.
Primary responsibilities include developing strategic briefs, interpreting consumer data, identifying market gaps, and offering insights that guide creative direction. The planner collaborates with research firms, utilizes analytics tools, and studies competitors to inform campaign strategy. In addition, they help define KPIs, assist in performance tracking, and make data-backed recommendations for campaign improvement.
This role requires both analytical thinking and creative sensitivity to ensure the messaging resonates with Qatari audiences while remaining commercially effective. A deep understanding of branding, consumer psychology, and media channels is essential for success in this position.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification is an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in advertising planning, strategy, or market research.
Skills:
Proficiency in audience analysis and market segmentation.
Strong data interpretation and trend analysis capabilities.
Ability to write clear and concise strategic briefs.
Familiarity with media planning and campaign development processes.
Critical thinking combined with a flair for storytelling.
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferred.
