Job Description:
We are looking for an Acoustic Insulation Technician to install soundproofing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your responsibilities include fitting acoustic panels, applying damping materials, and sealing noise transmission points.
You will assess structures, follow installation blueprints, and ensure all insulation materials meet performance standards. You’ll also help reduce noise from HVAC systems, walls, ceilings, and floors, depending on project requirements.
This job requires attention to technical detail and physical fitness. You will work with a variety of materials, including foam panels, mineral wool, mass-loaded vinyl, and sealants. On-the-job safety and precision are a top priority.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have experience in construction, drywall installation, or thermal/acoustic insulation work. A vocational certificate in insulation or construction trades is beneficial.
You must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Basic understanding of acoustic principles, blueprint reading, and material handling is necessary.
You’ll need good manual dexterity, spatial awareness, and the ability to follow detailed plans. Experience with tools like utility knives, staplers, and acoustic measuring devices is advantageous. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork are essential traits for this role.
